In his third untitled album close to completion, Ky-mani is definitely a star for himself. Ky-mani was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend and Jamaican champion in table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". A person who lives up to his title, each album or trip is an journey of a lifetime. His musical voyage started in 1999 with The Journey. He was an eclectic musician who was seeking his niche in music. In 2001, Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae album was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-Mani. Many More Roads, as along with The Journey, were well received across the globe and established Ky-mani in her role of self-made "artist". Ky-Mani is known for his distinctive blend of hip-hop and R&B with a touch of modern jazz.
